🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – MOULTONBOROUGH 🚨
Police InformationThe Moultonborough Police Department is currently investigating an incident that occurred on April 27, 2026, at approximately 3:27 AM in the areaof Old Route 109. Two individuals were observed entering an unlocked vehicle and removing property. One of the individuals may have been armed with a firearm.
Additional vehicle break-ins occurred overnight between April 29–30, 2026 in the area of Redding Lane.
If you discover that your vehicle has been rummaged through:

Anyone with information or surveillance footage is asked to contact the Moultonborough Police Department.

These types of incidents tend to increase during the warmer months, especially overnight. Residents are encouraged to take the following precautions:
✔ Lock all vehicles, homes, garages, and outbuildings nightly
✔ Remove valuables or keep them out of sight
✔ Keep key fobs away from doors and windows
✔ Use motion lights and/or security cameras
✔ Park in well-lit areas whenever possible
If you observe suspicious behavior or unknown individuals on your property, do not engage. Contact law enforcement from a safe location.

The Association of Krainewood Shores (K.S.A) homeowners was incorporated in 1974, with the charter of maintaining K.S.A. as the premier place to live or vacation in Moultonborough.   Peter Kraines was the original developer and the name Krainewood Shores was formed.  
 

The Association includes 172 homes located beyond the stone entrance. Participation in the Association is through payment of the annual dues which are set on the date of the annual meeting in July of each year.  Only through the continued financial support of all our residents will K.S.A. continue as the community of choice when purchasing a home in Moultonbourough.
